Just over a year on from kick-starting our MUSTBE0 design competition in London in November 2019, our design teams are seeing successes with taking their ideas forward.
Three of the six teams have recently won Innovate UK funding to develop their concepts.
DEEP-ER consortium is working with Energiesprong UK to develop the Build Up Net Zero approach. A webinar was delivered last week - you can see this here.
BowTie Construction is preparing its BowTieSprong solution for factory production. Watch out for more in January.
Ventive Limited is developing its M&E in a box solution - the first prototype will be installed in Nottingham on the Destination Zero project in January.
The Carnego system is being delivered on the first UK Energiesprong project, under Melius Homes. David Adams, Technical Director for Melius Homes, said: ‘Carnego has made great use of the MUSTBE0 design competition budget to advance its Shimmy system significantly. It is now perfect for Energiesprong solution providers’
Other consortiums are progressing their ideas and gearing up to deliver works.
A massive thanks to all of our design teams; we're looking forward to seeing your projects come to life next year!
If you're interested in helping achieve net zero, Energiesprong is recruiting for a number of roles – visit our jobs page for more information.
